CHRISTOPHE ADRIEN

 

Managing partner, founder and main shareholder of Adrien & Associés, Christophe has dedicated his practice to insurance and business risks for 30 years. 

​

Christophe has developed his practice defending insurers and insureds in complex loss-related issues, involving multi-million Euros litigation in the context of commercial and industrial risks. He has acted as lead counsel in numerous lawsuits, both as claimant (subrogation and recovery) and defendant (civil liability and coverage issues), in a wide variety of industries: chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy (including nuclear), oil and gas, electronics, software and hardware, mechanics/metallurgy, aviation, automobile, food products, construction...  He also advises his clients in many insurance issues (coverage, international insurance programs…). Christophe is dedicated to representing his clients both nationally and internationally.

Qualified by the CMAP (Center for Mediation and Arbitration of Paris) to mediation techniques, he is involved in mediation and conciliation sessions for his clients, aiming at resolving disputes amicably.

 

In addition, he has been a member of an international network of Attorneys and General Counsels, dedicated to insurance and business risks (the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel - FDCC) since 2012. He is also a member of the French renowned network of Risk Managers and Insurers (AMRAE).

He benefits each year from the recognition of specialized media (Best Lawyers, Who's Who Legal, Décideurs, Le Monde du Droit, Le Point), has been named as "Lawyer of the year 2022" by “Le Monde du Droit” and cited by his peers as "an excellent lawyer with an impressive portfolio. His wide-ranging practice includes coverage, property damage and liability claims" (Who's Who Legal, 2020).

He earned a business law degree and has been admitted to the Paris Bar since 1993.
